The way it works with Comcast's version of Norton Security Suite (a clone of N 360) is that those users usually receive the updates for FF at the same time as the rretail customers, however with FF 31 they did not recieve the4update yuet and thus need to stay on FF 30 until the updateis released. AlSo I see NIS online is $5.95 per month - and once again shopping around can get you a year's retail subscription chaper. I am not very familiar with the Earthlink version of N360 online - but I do see that Earthlink charges $6.95 per month for it and that is actually more expensive than if you shop for a year's subsciption of the retail N 360. So why would Norton Block this version of FF browwser but never had block updates before? I go to product rules and change it from auto to allow. I found by reading that norton 360 may be blocking the software. It was near impossible to access my webmail. But I also use usenet and it was working fine so I didn't think a virus was causing the problems.įF was slow to load, it was slow to use any bookmark or saved tabs. If it was a virus then I should not be able to use any web browser to gain access to the web. Fortunately I had IE9 available and began using it. Firefox alerted me that there was a new version available so I downloaded it.
I have just gone through hades the last few days.
Should I always check with Norton Product Rules before trying to use a new updated version of previous used software?
